Raising much-needed funds

As well as finding foster and forever homes, we also get out and about to raise much-needed funds. As our charity is run entirely by volunteers, every single penny goes to the welfare of the dogs. As well as paying for food, treats, toys and bedding, the money we raise helps to cover veterinary costs, such as neutering, vaccination, worming, flea treatment, plus any surgical procedures some of the greyhounds in our care need.

One of our regular fund raising events is to hold a stall at Guisborough Market from 9am until 3pm (weather and availability permitting) – see our Facebook page, or events section of our website for details. As well as selling dog-related items, we also run a tombola. Pop along to say hello to Tracy, Gary and other G.R.A.C.E volunteers. There are usually a couple of greyhounds lending a helping paw too!
